Easter Weekend (Easter morning)

Easter morning was beautiful. We all slept in and the children were immediately excited to see their Easter baskets. Around here, the Easter bunny always brings each child a new DVD or book and a bit of candy (as little candy as I can get away with really). Max came in backwards - and I am not sure why.

Sophie scored a Percy Jackson and the Olympians guide - she has become a huge fan of that book series and is now engrossed in the Artemis Foul series. Calvin was thrilled to get The Princess and the Frog DVD. We never saw it in theaters and he has been asking about it for months. Max has watched Ice Age: Dawn Dawn of the Dinosaurs twice since Easter and seems pretty pleased with his Easter gifts as well. Thank you Target for your $6.99 DVDs. We love them!

After baskets, I turned into conference in the kitchen while starting the baking for the day. It was a nice way to spend the morning - the house smelled wonderful and the older kids actually listened to the speakers.
