This Little Guy

. . . is getting a helmet on Friday. He has to wear it 23 hours a day for three months! His parents have chosen camouflage. Does anyone have a child who had to go through this to correct a flat head?!

  1. Masha and Jeff knew someone that did.

Simon's head is flatter on one side than the other. He just needs to be switched sides back and forth and more tummy time.

  2. My son Parker had to wear one for almost 5 months to correct his head. We would plaster it with new stickers every week or so. He had to wear it while he was learning to walk and it saved his head from many injuries! At the time he also had ezcema on his face and the helmet therapy was VERY new (15 1/2 years ago) and the looks people would give me... well, let's just say they would not have nominated me for mom of the year. :)

  3. I have a friend whose little boy had to wear one for a while and it worked beautifully!!! I don't think it is so uncommon now.

    What a sweet baby!
